OUR MISSION IS ABOUT YOU
The mission of USA Masters Team is to inspire and enable elite master class athletes the opportunity and resources to achieve competitive excellence.
USA Masters Team aims to provide support and training opportunities for competitive athletes 35 years and older, generally known as Masters.
The goal of USA Masters Team is to provide opportunities for Master athletes to continue to compete at a high level.
USA Masters Team was created out of an idea to gather formal National Team members and Olympians who still had the fire to compete.
These athletes possessed the drive to train and determination to withstand training/physical adversity, despite their age.
With a commitment to team and dedication to perform at their best, 17 athletes traveled to compete in an international masters competition, the European Masters Games in Turin, Italy.
The 17 team members earned a total of 15 medals for the USA (7-Golds, 2-Silvers, and 6-Bronze).
They found the level of competition high caliber and team comradery unprecedent.
Athletes not only returned home with hardware, but an unforgettable experience that encompassed travel and lasting friendships.
The love for their sport was re-ignited and passion to represent their country on a world stage unforgettable. They were USA Masters Team
